I have been performing at events since 1998. I have done everything from wedding ceremonies to corporate events.
How much do you charge for an event?

How far do you travel for an event?
I happily play at events in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. I am based in Ashburn, Virginia, and will travel to locations within a 1 hour drive. Locations outside of that distance will incur a travel fee.
Are you able to play outdoors?
Yes! I enjoy performing outdoors and am happy to accommodate outdoor events whenever possible. Because the harp is a delicate and valuable instrument, it must be placed on a level, dry surface with approximately four square feet of space.
To protect the instrument, the performance area should be shaded from direct sunlight and sheltered from rain, excessive humidity, or extreme temperatures. If weather conditions become unfavorable, including precipitation, excessive heat, or cold, I may need to move the harp indoors or pause the performance until conditions are safe.
Do you require any specific equipment at the venue?
I bring all of my own equipment. The harp is a surprisingly loud instrument and does not usually require any type of amplification.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A signed contract and a non-refundable 50% deposit are required to secure your event date. Because availability is limited, dates cannot be held or reserved until both the contract and deposit have been received.
The remaining balance is due prior to the event date, as outlined in your contract.
Will I be able to select the music for my wedding ceremony?
Absolutely! Every wedding is unique, and I encourage couples to choose music that reflects their personal style and helps create the atmosphere they envision for their special day.
A selection of frequently performed pieces can be found on the Repertoire page. If you don't see a specific song listed, don't worry—my repertoire is constantly growing, and not every song I perform is included on the website.
If you have a particular song in mind, please feel free to ask. With sufficient advance notice and available harp sheet music, I am often able to learn new pieces for wedding ceremonies. Additional fees may apply for custom music arrangements or special song requests.
Do you teach lessons?
I love to share my love of the harp through teaching others. Lessons are taught out of my home in Ashburn, Virginia. I teach classical French style harp on a Lyon and Healy pedal harp. I teach students ranging from beginning - intermediate levels. Lessons are available for ages 8+. Please contact me for more information regarding space and pricing.
